Dr. Sam Cohlmia

Dr. Cohlmia, the chanter for this hymnody. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist in Wichita, Kansas (1997-present), and has been a faithful member of the Antiochian Orthodox Church since birth. Dr. Cohlmia was born in Beirut, Lebanon and emigrated to the United States at the age of 15 where he obtained his collegiate and doctoral education. He is the Protopsaltis of the Diocese of Wichita and Mid-America (2006-present). He also serves on the Archdiocesan Department of Liturgics and translation, aiding in the translation of the Arabic and Greek Typika in order to arrange the English as well as the bilingual (English-Arabic) weekly and festal liturgical notes.
